Good house. Living area upstairs is very comfortable and kitchen below is nice and big. The main bedroom is a cracker.
The house is set nicely, overlooking the church and churchyard but the short, little lane down which you drive to park at the house is not extravagantly wide – drivers of 1972 Lincoln Continentals beware (and try not to run over the neighbours’ milk bottles).
The village pub is okay for beer and there are a few places to walk around the area. Very muddy during our stay but the house has ample space in the entrance hall for mucky or wet kit.
Glastonbury was a bit of a toilet but Wells made up for it; The Bistro was excellent value for money and had a good atmosphere. The so-called Tapas bar did not, upon detailed questioning actually serve any Tapas, despite the prominent advertising on its window. Some interesting stalls in Wells market.
